Job Overview

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of designated areas.

$17.25 per hour

Work Schedule: 3rd Shift - Monday - Friday 8:30pm - 5:00am or 1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a Commercial Cleaning role
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of buildings/facilities
  • Adhere to procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Inform Management regarding the need for minor or major repairs or enhancements to building systems
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, colleagues, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or using hand trucks
  • Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
  • Wash and replace blinds
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, removing snow, or performing other seasonal tasks
  • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food service areas
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
This position is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.
