Position Overview:

The Project Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Head of US Operations and will be tasked with overseeing operational initiatives within our client's facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the effective utilization of organizational space and resources to improve operational productivity.
  • Lead facility enhancement projects and manage layout redesigns.
  • Facilitate internal coordination for any facility expansions or departmental relocations.
  • Supervise construction and renovation activities, maintaining relationships with contractors, overseeing space allocation, and managing project budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with the EHS Manager to ensure all projects adhere to safety standards.
  • Coordinate services with external facility vendors and contractors.
  • Work in conjunction with other sites regarding the transfer of company assets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience managing a variety of projects from inception to completion in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Proven success in delivering projects within budget and meeting delivery expectations.
  • Experience in facility redesigns and expansions.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to think critically and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
  • Preferred 5-7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, project management, or a related field. A minimum of a B.S. Degree or equivalent is required.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Project and Gantt charts.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
