Position Overview: Elevate Your Career in Construction Management.

The Senior Construction Project Coordinator role is primarily remote, requiring occasional travel for oversight and quality assurance across various regions. This position involves managing new store construction and renovation projects while collaborating with landlords, architects, general contractors, and planning departments. You will be responsible for providing timely construction updates to internal stakeholders, including the Construction Department and Field Operations Teams, across all TJX Corporate brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the New Store Construction Progress schedule, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with landlords, architects, and contractors.
  • Manage the construction of new stores: Monitor project timelines, facilitate problem-solving, and ensure quality assurance.
  • Supervise remodels and special projects within stores, maintaining schedules and ensuring effective communication between operations and contractors.
  • Deliver regular construction updates to the Construction Department and Field Operations Teams.
  • Travel as necessary for project oversight and quality assurance checks.
  • Manage budgets and handle change orders efficiently.
  • Support store operations by addressing timing issues, facilitating access to new stores, and assisting with remodels and maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing accurate updates to management, contractors, and store operations.
  • Review construction documents to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes, project plans, and third-party contract terms while coordinating construction processes.
  • Identify and develop new general contractors for upcoming projects.
  • Innovate construction processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile: We Seek a Dedicated Professional.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • Proficient in basic digital tools (Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction trades, building codes, and methodologies.
  • Proven project management capabilities demonstrated through successful project leadership.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future trends and consequences.
  • Strong initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

The starting salary for this position ranges from $90,200 to $115,200 annually, based on relevant skills and experience.

This role is eligible for both annual and long-term incentives.
