- Identify and engage with prospective customers to create customized solutions that meet their business objectives.
- Conduct thorough research on potential customers, including industry trends, company profiles, and key decision-makers.
- Develop new project opportunities by collaborating with our design, estimating, and project management teams to create tailored solutions for each customer.
- Establish pricing strategies for each project, working closely with our team VP to outline pricing, terms, and conditions for prospective customers.
- Onboard new customers and steward them through the sales process, ensuring a smooth completion of orders.
- Collaborate with our sales organization to integrate new customers and ensure a seamless hand-off.
- Participate in company sales meetings and trade conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a fact-based selling environment, preferably in CPG or tech sales.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, user-friendly solutions.
- Strong negotiation and dynamic selling skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and understand key thresholds within our company.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment, with a start-up mentality and a love for the thrill of the hunt.
- Ability to work in a hybrid/remote selling environment and travel up to 30% of the year.
- Ability to attend customer meetings with short notice and be on-site at our Modesto facility for initial training and ad-hoc plant visits.
