Regional Vice President of Land Acquisition

About the Role

The Regional Vice President of Land Acquisition plays a critical role in driving the growth and success of Century Communities by identifying and acquiring land and communities to meet the region's needs for new home construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire land and communities through various sources, including MLS, private parties, investor groups, banks, and developers.
  • Conduct thorough research on land to ensure no adverse restrictions, such as environmental or zoning issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sellers, outside agencies, and employees.
  • Manage the contract writing and filing process to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with the Division Managers and Land Acquisition team to ensure that land and community needs are met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification, accreditation, or job experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in land or land acquisition.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and high volumes of work.
  • A strong work ethic and demeanor that fosters customer trust.
