Position Overview

This role is based full-time within our Re:Build Manufacturing facility. Due to an increase in our product offerings and a strategic enhancement of our capabilities, we are seeking to hire an Assembly Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and collaborate closely with a small team of skilled machinists and operators.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing engineering and production teams, ensuring alignment and support.
  • Install and assemble various components, sub-assemblies, and hardware according to written and electronic drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Maintain an inventory of components, hardware, and other essential items for the department.
  • Organize the assembly area and ensure proper maintenance of assembly equipment and tools.
  • Contribute ideas and expertise to enhance both processes and documentation continuously.
  • Communicate effectively with management, team leads, operators, quality assurance, and other personnel regarding assignments and to address quality and process issues.
  • Complete all reports and associated paperwork accurately and legibly.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Assembly, or a related field is preferred (experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Ability to provide direction and hands-on support to ensure team success.
  • Proficient in reading basic drawings and work instructions.
  • Demonstrated competence in in-process inspection.
  • Basic mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude are essential.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Exhibit honest and timely communication.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, integrity, and a commitment to safety.
