Position Overview

The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement will be tasked with executing and promoting TEOA and Lean methodologies across various sites, providing support and guidance to local teams, and facilitating cross-functional workshops alongside site personnel, ensuring adherence to TEOA standards and the execution of the TEOA strategic framework.
You will be expected to align with and propel TEOA initiatives considering the entire Value Stream, from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the rollout of the Operations Strategy. Collaborate with site leadership and TEOA teams to develop Current State and Future State Value Stream Maps (VSM) and TEOA deployment strategies based on site assessments to meet plant performance goals. Identify and prioritize resources necessary for the deployment strategy; support, plan, drive, and monitor the TEOA implementation across all sites. Conduct Star Level audits based on the implementation of TEOA tools. Facilitate weekly site follow-ups on improvement initiatives as outlined in the deployment strategy. Organize monthly review sessions with Plant management and Continuous Improvement leadership to assess progress on deliverables and modify the TEOA deployment strategy as required. Enhance knowledge across all employee levels by identifying training needs and coordinating training on problem-solving techniques and TEOA improvement tools. Foster the development of a lean culture at both site and departmental levels. Share Best Practices within the TE Community. Lead improvement initiatives, implement pull systems at sites, and establish layouts for efficient flow, Kanban systems, shop stock sizing, and visual management on the shop floor. Drive efforts for Lot Size reduction, management control, standard work, and workshops/kaizen events.

Required Qualifications:

Significant professional experience with a focus on production, logistics, or engineering, coupled with financial acumen. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives at a regional level (Lean Leader or similar role). Extensive hands-on experience with value stream mapping/MIFA improvement and the implementation of TEOA/Lean tools. Proven leadership in kaizen events with demonstrable results in areas such as 5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover, and TPM. Credibility and experience to effectively collaborate with senior on-site leadership and site TEOA leaders. Exceptional communication and coaching abilities across all levels, from shop floor personnel to top management. Capability to think strategically while executing tactically to achieve results. Strong project management skills with a detailed understanding of flow (both physical and economic). Analytical mindset and data-driven approach; the candidate must possess a comprehensive view of complex situations and manage challenging issues effectively. Experience in the automotive sector is preferred.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $138,800 - $208,200 (subject to change based on location)

• Salary ranges are provided in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
