The Vice President Chief Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation's operational activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct fiscal department operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) issued by regulatory and advisory organizations.
  • Apply financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the healthcare industry.
  • Supervise and maintain cooperative relationships with team members.
  • Understand, apply, and analyze computerized accounting and information systems.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Make effective and persuasive presentations to the Board of Directors and others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, or equivalent, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA) is desired.

Additional Requirements:

  • Understanding of Indian Health Service and Alaska Tribal Health Systems.
