Chief Mission Delivery Officer

Girl Scouts of Alaska is seeking a dynamic and business-savvy Chief Mission Delivery Officer (CMDO) to advance our mission by increasing opportunities for volunteers and girls to work together throughout our council. This senior executive position will support and implement the council's mission, strategic plan, annual operating plan, and budget for all aspects of operations, including member services, volunteer engagement, product program, and program/camp that are integral to serving the needs of our girls and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and implement the council's mission, strategic plan, annual operating plan, and budget for all aspects of operations.
  • Cultivate the skills and talent of staff and volunteers and support the onboarding and training of staff.
  • Promote Girl Scout visibility and strengthen the Girl Scout brand in our Alaskan communities.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and work in a fluid and dynamic environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase volunteer engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to achieve council goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience with eight years of directly related work experience, and at least six years of leadership experience.
  • Collaborative work ethic.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage in a multi-functional operational environment.
  • Proven record of managing others through strategic execution and goal achievement, including at the C-Level.
  • Previous membership and volunteer engagement experience strongly desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with all sensitive information.
