What impact will you have?
As an Account Manager in the Production Process and Analytics (PPA) division of the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will be instrumental in our sales and commercial initiatives. By spearheading the sales and account management for our Quality Control Systems (Gauging) in established markets, you will significantly contribute to our growth and profitability. Reporting to the Commercial Leader EMEA, this role involves building and nurturing robust customer relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and enhancing market penetration. Your sales acumen and strategic mindset will be essential in achieving our sales and profit objectives.
Your Responsibilities
Achieve Sales Objectives- Deliver and meet forecasts in bookings and revenue.
- Engage with external partners or directly with clients.
- Enhance long-term business outcomes and fortify relationships.
- Select, train, and empower agents and channel partners.
- Optimize sales reporting through CRM (SFDC) and other tools.
- Effectively communicate and share market insights to aid decision-making.
- Ensure effective communication and responsiveness.
- Deliver exceptional results to improve customer experiences.
- Promote our offerings effectively to clients.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other territories, product lines, product management, and service teams.
- Ensure a unified and aligned approach.
- Willingness to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time.
Education
Bachelor's degree in sciences or a related technical field.
ExperienceYou should possess a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, showcasing a proven track record of success. Experience in sales to industrial clients within the Metal, Packaging, Converting, and/or Battery Manufacturing sectors will be highly advantageous.
Skills and AbilitiesTo excel in this role, you should have:
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Language proficiency: French and English, with a focus on business communication. Additional languages, particularly Italian and Spanish, are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications (knowledge of SFDC is a plus).
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commercial excellence in a matrix environment.
- A valid driving license.
