The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced communications professional to join our team as a Strategic Communications Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our client's mission by designing, developing, and implementing effective communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communications plans to inform and engage key audiences
  • Create high-quality communications materials, including internal and external news and information
  • Collaborate with senior-level clients to advance their vision and goals
  • Network with communications professionals in the client space to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Manage content for the client's website and develop collateral materials as needed
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional environment, including internships
  • Knowledge of foundational communications principles and best practices
  • Ability to interact with senior-level clients and make recommendations to advance their vision
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the strategic communications field
  • Experience with writing and editing material in a journalistic style
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community
  • Knowledge of website content management systems, including WordPress or Joomla
  • Master's degree
Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123, annualized USD.
