About the Role

USAA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Product Owner to join our Bank Digital Transformation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy of our digital banking experiences, ensuring delivery of high-quality products and member experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and Drive Vision: Effectively communicate and drive the vision and strategy to key stakeholders and team members, ensuring delivery of quality products and member experiences.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to determine business needs and ensure alignment on business strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Define Acceptance Criteria: Partner with Team-of-Teams Lead to define and clearly communicate acceptance criteria for output based on business requirements and customer needs.
  • Anticipate and Solve Complex Issues: Anticipate and solve complex issues using a data-driven approach to decision making, including allocating funds and developing and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that drive Bank product success.
  • Act as Voice of the End-User: Act as the voice of the end-user, proactively seeking customer feedback to learn and better understand their needs and requirements.
  • Own Bank Agile Team Backlog: Own the Bank agile team backlog, including grooming, prioritization, and refinement.
  • Optimize Flow of Value: Optimize the flow of value through the multi-Bank agile team Agile environment and progress towards objectives, goals, and commitments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis, or directly related to supported business operations/product line.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of multiple technical software delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe.
  • Skills: Advanced experience analyzing business requirements, process flows, and use cases to identify opportunities to streamline business processes.
