The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Agile Product Owner to join our Credit Card team. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for prioritizing work to drive business outcomes, ensuring the voice of the customer is represented, and making decisions to drive business success.

You will work closely with our agile team to clarify and drive alignment on business strategy, goals, and objectives. You will translate this understanding into a clear vision for the team, informing the creation and prioritization of our backlog of work.

You will partner with our Team-of-Teams Lead to define and communicate acceptance criteria for output based on business requirements and customer needs. You will anticipate and solve complex issues using a data-driven approach, allocating funds and developing and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that drive business success.

You will act as the voice of the end-user, proactively seeking customer feedback to learn and better understand their needs and requirements. You will own our agile team backlog, grooming, prioritizing, and refining it to ensure it is aligned with business objectives.

You will optimize the flow of value through our multi-agile team environment, progressing towards objectives, goals, and commitments while removing impediments, resolving conflicts, and handling risks and issues.

What You'll Do
  • Communicate and drive the vision and strategy effectively to key stakeholders and agile team members.
  • Work closely with the Team-of-Teams Lead to clarify and drive alignment on business strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Define and communicate acceptance criteria for output based on business requirements and customer needs.
  • Anticipate and solve complex issues using a data-driven approach.
  • Act as the voice of the end-user.
  • Own our agile team backlog.
  • Optimize the flow of value through our multi-agile team environment.
What You Have
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis, or directly related to supported business operations/product line.
  • Knowledge of multiple technical software delivery methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, SAFe).
  • Advanced experience analyzing business requirements, process flows, and use cases to find opportunities to streamline business processes.
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated use of Process Engineering methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of applicable banking, regulatory, compliance policies, including applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
What Sets You Apart
  • Strong experience in Credit Card/Consumer Lending.
  • Experience with Credit Card Credit Line Management/Existing Card Management Activities.
  • Experience with Developing Business Cases; demonstrating ROR/ROI.
  • Experience/knowledge with Reg Z, Reg B, Reg V, & UDAAP related to Credit Card Activities.
  • Experience/knowledge with Risk Mitigation Tactics and Best Practices.
  • Proficient in Agile/Waterfall Methodologies & User Acceptance Testing (UAT) concepts and best practices.
  • Master's Degree (Business related).
  • US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.

What We Offer

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $99,160 - $189,530.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
