This role involves cultivating relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors. The successful candidate will guide a dedicated team, uphold exceptional customer service standards, manage personnel, and forge strategic collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage and nurture a constructive team environment
- Supervise bookstore personnel and student employees
- Establish and uphold compliance with essential procedures
- Advance the university's mission through effective bookstore management
- Identify and execute opportunities for operational efficiency
- Ensure robust financial performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
- 5+ years of managerial experience in a retail context
- Proficient in technology and retail management
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the college textbook sector
- Experience with digital educational material initiatives
- Background in innovative program development
Compensation: $68,000 - $71,000 (Dependent on experience)
Employment Status: Full-time (12 months)
