Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care services for patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans to meet their needs.
  • Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care services, making adjustments as needed.
  • Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment.
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
