Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and select, instruct, and troubleshoot equipment and services to meet those needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including sales, rental, and delivery of home care products.
  • Primarily dispense and follow up on respiratory equipment, including apnea monitors, ventilators, and oxygen therapy.
  • Assist in promoting HME services and products to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Develop business relationships with referral sources and end-users to drive new patient referrals.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree from a respiratory therapy program registered by the Board of Regents and/or accredited by the national respiratory therapy professional association.
  • Licensed and currently registered in NYS as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • At least 2 years' experience providing respiratory therapy in an acute or sub-acute care facility. Home care experience is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and prioritizing skills.
  • Registered or Registry eligible Respiratory Therapist. CRTT or RRT. Must be licensed in New York State.
