Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate patient history, physical exams, and current vital signs to advise providers on appropriate respiratory care procedures and techniques.
  • Initiate and update respiratory care plans for all patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to implement the plan of care.
  • Provide patient education on therapeutic procedures and communicate clinical status to the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent certificate.
  • New York State Respiratory Therapist license required.
  • ACLS certification (current) required within one year of hire.
