Liberty Home Care is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in respiratory therapy, with experience in assessment, equipment selection, and customer service. As a Respiratory Therapist/Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing patient needs and selecting appropriate equipment and services
- Providing customer service and support for home care products
- Dispensing and following up on respiratory equipment, including apnea monitors, ventilators, and oxygen therapy
- Promoting HME services and products to patients and healthcare professionals
- Developing business relationships with referral sources and end-users to drive new patient referrals
Requirements:
- Associate Degree from a respiratory therapy program registered by the Board of Regents and/or accredited by the national respiratory therapy professional association
- Licensed and registered in NYS as a Respiratory Therapist
- At least 2 years' experience providing respiratory therapy in an acute or sub-acute care facility; home care experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and prioritizing skills
Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:
- Registered or Registry eligible Respiratory Therapist
- CRTT or RRT
- Licensed in New York State
The pay range for this position reflects the anticipated compensation. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined based on their work history, experience, skill set, and education. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement benefits.
