Liberty Home Care is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in respiratory therapy, with experience in assessment, equipment selection, and customer service. As a Respiratory Therapist/Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing patient needs and selecting appropriate equipment and services
  • Providing customer service and support for home care products
  • Dispensing and following up on respiratory equipment, including apnea monitors, ventilators, and oxygen therapy
  • Promoting HME services and products to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Developing business relationships with referral sources and end-users to drive new patient referrals

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree from a respiratory therapy program registered by the Board of Regents and/or accredited by the national respiratory therapy professional association
  • Licensed and registered in NYS as a Respiratory Therapist
  • At least 2 years' experience providing respiratory therapy in an acute or sub-acute care facility; home care experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication and prioritizing skills

Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:

  • Registered or Registry eligible Respiratory Therapist
  • CRTT or RRT
  • Licensed in New York State

The pay range for this position reflects the anticipated compensation. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined based on their work history, experience, skill set, and education.
