Job Summary:

Northwell Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and auxiliary equipment, processing images, and maintaining required documentation. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the procedure

• Operate x-ray equipment, positioning patients for optimal image capture and adjusting equipment settings as needed

• Monitor patient conditions during exams, recognizing and reporting any abnormalities or concerns

• Process and maintain exposed images, labeling them correctly and maintaining required records

• Perform related duties as required, including maintaining equipment and supplies

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program

• New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration

• Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams

• BLS through the American Heart Association
