Job Title: Radiology Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and efficient imaging environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and maintaining patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
  • 1+ year of experience in radiology imaging
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
