HR Generalist

Position Summary:

The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in managing total rewards, which encompasses benefits, compensation, and leaves of absence, while also overseeing compliance and HRIS systems administration. This position will involve a variety of HR Generalist responsibilities, including employee relations, policy development, communication regarding employee programs, and coordination of special events.

Key Responsibilities:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for:

  • Total Rewards: Collaborating with the VP of HR and brokers to design benefit plans, leading the annual enrollment process, and administering all benefits and retirement programs.
  • HRIS Management: Acting as the primary contact for HRIS technical support, ensuring optimal functionality of the HRIS, and training new HR staff on system usage.
  • Compliance: Drafting policy documents, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and maintaining accurate employee notifications.
  • Employee Relations: Assisting with investigations, onboarding, offboarding, and supporting various HR functions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources or business, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in benefits, compensation, and HRIS. HR certification is preferred. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
