Job Summary:

The Billing / Customer Service Representative will have frontline ownership of the promise to deliver exceptional customer experiences. All customers are important and should be treated accordingly. Candidate will take direct responsibility and ownership for external customer relationships, order entry, and all customer billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer interactions, including phone calls, walk-ins, and correspondence.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of how to resolve customer issues, including product information, pricing, and billing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing process for all customers.
  • Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries.
  • Manage the tracking and payment of supplemental/rebate programs with key suppliers.
  • Prepare and provide reports and proof of delivery for sales support as required.
  • Ensure quotes and orders are processed in a timely manner, meeting deadlines from the sales team and customers.
  • Verify product availability and communicate estimated time of arrival to customers.
  • Adhere to all company initiatives and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service environment.
  • Associate degree or related work experience.
  • Strong general business knowledge.
  • Proficiency in computer operating systems, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Epicor P21 is a plus but not required.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask in a professional manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish relationships and build credibility with customers.
