Job Overview:

The Sales Representative is tasked with promoting and selling facility management services, including janitorial cleaning, pressure washing, and concierge solutions to commercial clients. This position requires identifying potential clients, delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and nurturing client relationships. A comprehensive understanding of facility management services and customer requirements is essential for customizing solutions and successfully closing sales. This role demands a high level of integrity to foster enduring business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and engage potential clients across various sectors (commercial and industrial).
    • Conduct market analysis to comprehend customer needs and pinpoint sales opportunities.
    • Formulate and implement a sales strategy to meet sales objectives and broaden the client base.
    • Arrange and conduct meetings with prospective clients to showcase facility management services.
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive proposals and service agreements to clients.
    • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to finalize deals.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and sustain robust relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
    • Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring that services meet or exceed expectations.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to evaluate service quality and identify upselling opportunities.
  3. Service Quality Assurance:
    • Collaborate with the operations team to guarantee that services are delivered according to client specifications.
    • Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided, making adjustments as necessary.
    • Conduct site assessments to inspect the cleanliness and quality of work performed by staff.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  4. Administrative Duties:
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
    • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote services.
    • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, preferably within the facility management or service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of facility management services, products, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of sales experience is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require working outside of standard business hours to meet with clients and conduct site assessments.
  • Regular travel to client locations is necessary.
