Job Description

Western Digital is seeking a highly skilled Principal Drive Integration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our HDD Program Management Team, you will be responsible for planning and defining development phases, product requirements, and product features.

You will lead teams of various disciplines to collaborate in developing the Manufacturing Test Process and finalize it for transfer to production. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating strategy to meet manufacturing test milestones, analyzing and resolving issues identified during system integration, and identifying root cause of HDD failures and implementing corrective actions.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in electronics, engineering, or physical sciences, and at least 6 years of experience in the electrical or electronics industry. You should have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and define development phases, product requirements, and product features
  • Lead teams of various disciplines to develop the Manufacturing Test Process
  • Coordinate strategy to meet manufacturing test milestones
  • Analyze and resolve issues identified during system integration
  • Identify root cause of HDD failures and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Electronics, Engineering, or Physical Sciences
  • At least 6 years of experience in the Electrical or Electronics Industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Hard Drive Technology
