Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a committed Quality Assurance Specialist to guarantee that our organization's products fulfill all specifications and client expectations. The successful candidate will be tasked with supervising activities related to upholding certifications and external agency endorsements such as AS9100D certification, ASME certification, NADCAP, and NUPIC. Furthermore, you will act as the liaison with clients and suppliers on quality-related matters.

  • Accountable for the effective operation of the company's Quality Management System and Quality Assurance protocols.
  • Collaborate with various teams to resolve procedural challenges impacting product quality control.
  • Examine raw material certifications and authorize materials for manufacturing.
  • Coordinate testing and inspection methodologies, analyze outcomes, and address any quality discrepancies.
  • Investigate and rectify customer grievances concerning product quality.
  • Emphasize data-driven enhancements in product, process, supplier quality, and customer service.
  • Ensure that customer quality requirements are clearly defined and satisfied throughout the production cycle.
  • Implement and sustain quality systems, employing methodologies like LEAN/Six Sigma.
  • Strike a balance between prevention, appraisal, and failure costs.
  • Oversee the upkeep of company certifications and external agency endorsements.
  • Develop and manage auditing processes for quality effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within Aerospace, Defense, or Nuclear Power sectors.
  • Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication, including report generation.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in relevant analytical software.
