Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and driven Quality Control Specialist to enhance our vibrant team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in engineering and manufacturing, ideally within the aerospace sector. This permanent role offers a unique chance to engage in innovative projects and support the ongoing enhancement of our quality assurance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Specialist, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Designing and executing quality assurance systems in accordance with AS9100, ISO9001, and ASME guidelines.
2. Partnering with suppliers to guarantee the delivery of high-quality materials and products.
3. Performing audits on processes and quality systems to pinpoint areas needing improvement.
4. Evaluating manufacturing processes for potential enhancements and applying effective solutions.
5. Leading investigations into root causes and implementing corrective measures to avert future issues.
6. Offering technical and quality support to the production team.
7. Involving in product design and development to ensure compliance with quality standards.
8. Compiling quality documentation and reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data and trends.
9. Educating and mentoring staff on new procedures and quality control practices.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Control role, preferably in the aerospace industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and ASME standards.
4. Proven experience in managing supplier quality.
5. Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and statistical techniques.
6. Demonstrated capability to create and implement quality systems.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and leadership skills.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
