Job Summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Food and Beverage team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clerical support and administrative services to ensure the smooth operation of our food service programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client-centric manner.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents.
  • Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
  • Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, and student's parents.
  • Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer and perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
  • Process vendor invoices for payment and perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement and assist in preparation of end-of-month financial reports.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
