Position Overview:
Our esteemed firm is in search of a proactive and experienced Corporate Counsel specializing in Corporate and Real Estate law. The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering legal counsel, negotiating and drafting contracts, and managing disputes related to corporate law and commercial real estate. This position demands a thorough understanding of corporate law and real estate regulations, along with a dedication to providing exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will collaborate with a team that prioritizes innovation, teamwork, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer legal guidance on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contractual agreements, and dispute resolution.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions, such as leases, purchase agreements, and financing contracts.
  • Represent the firm in legal proceedings, prepare necessary legal documents, and negotiate settlements.
  • Advise on the legal implications of the firm's financing strategies, including evaluating current and future business structures.
  • Conduct thorough research on diverse legal issues.
  • Provide training and support to the firm on relevant legal topics.
  • Develop and implement company policies regarding legal matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to formulate effective defense strategies.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact the firm.


Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate and commercial real estate law.
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • A proven track record with a portable book of business is preferred.
  • Strong background in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate law.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, research, and legal writing capabilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • High standards of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Strong judgment and ability to interpret and apply legal provisions effectively.
