Job Overview

As a Process Engineer at Samuel Engineering, you will leverage your expertise in process development and engineering design for mining and mineral projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced knowledge and specialized training to create systems and unit operations.
  • Coordinate with Discipline Leads, Project Managers, and Engineering Managers to meet project requirements.
  • Resolve identifiable problems using standard practices and procedures.

Essential Functions

This position encompasses a range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Process Engineer Intern: Collaborate with team members to enhance skills and knowledge, while learning and implementing the company's best practices.
  • Process Engineer IV: Work alongside team members to ensure timely project completion and apply best practices in process engineering.
  • Process Engineer III: Assist in designing test work, data analysis, and developing process flow diagrams.
  • Process Engineer II: Contribute to the development of process design criteria and assist in capital cost estimates.
  • Process Engineer I: Prepare studies and reports, perform advanced design computations, and manage project administration tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications vary by level:

  • Engineer Intern: Junior or Senior in University/College.
  • Engineer IV: Bachelor's degree.
  • Engineer III: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience.
  • Engineer II: Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience.
  • Engineer I: Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience or FE licensure, or 8 years of experience.
