As a Mechanical Engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal clients' water and wastewater challenges locally and worldwide. You'll be responsible for designing water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities, and conveyance systems, as well as technical writing and construction drawing and specification production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design water and wastewater pump stations, including pipe sizing calculations, selection of pump type, process facilities, rotating equipment, piping systems, valves, and appurtenances for in-plant process piping, chemical systems, and hydraulic studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions for water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and standards for water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on water and wastewater treatment plant and pump station design and operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in water/wastewater process mechanical engineering for municipal clients.
  • Detailed mechanical design experience for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
  • Experience with water/wastewater equipment for municipal clients.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
