Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and support the smooth operation of our front office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and greeting guests, directing them to the appropriate person or office
  • Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and providing information
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring all necessary stationery and materials are available
  • Providing basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
  • Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Performing various administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment, such as fax machines and printers
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school diploma
