Position Overview

Salary: $45,000-$50,000

The primary objective of this role is to maintain the portfolio's health and ensure compliance with the company's defined metrics, including turnover rates, overdue account percentages, and balance discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily deposits and reconcile payment discrepancies.
  • Apply payments accurately to customer accounts.
  • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and irregularities.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payments.
  • Engage with clients via phone, email, or fax to discuss their account balances.
  • Generate weekly reports on portfolio status for management and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to address any customer account issues.
  • Assist clients with inquiries regarding account statements, credits, and other account-related questions.
  • Conduct analysis on collections.
  • Access banking systems to facilitate collection and investigation processes.
  • Ensure accounts are kept current and accurate.
  • File claims for any discrepancies or necessary support.
  • Utilize designated customer portals for support and payment status checks.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team regarding customer account situations.

Decision-Making Authority

  • The analyst is empowered to block customers exhibiting poor payment behavior.
  • For credit notes and/or deductions that affect expenses, the analyst can prepare a credit note and/or authorize expenses up to $50 without prior approval. All other requests must be submitted for financial processing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to communicate openly and effectively.
  • Team-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Analytical skills.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of two years in a similar role or related experience.
  • Familiarity with ERS SAP, Oracle, or similar software is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP: 2 years (Preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred).
  • Experience in accounts receivable: 2 years (Preferred).
