Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware and Infrastructure (HW&I) Engineering team. As a key member of our Connected Aviation Solutions group, you will play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge systems for the global aerospace and defense industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) replacement devices to meet project requirements.
  • Perform preliminary and detailed design activities, including trade studies and device-level bench testing.
  • Conduct integration testing and write detailed verification test plans and test reports.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead small teams of hardware development engineers.
  • Interface with other disciplines to support product development and complete technical documentation.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in electronic design, including COTS and custom hardware designs.
  • Prior experience with technical documentation and earned value management (EVM).
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
