Job Summary:

GTECH Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team. As an Aftertreatment Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative aftertreatment systems for our gasoline, diesel, and hybrid vehicle applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Best-In-Class Aftertreatment System Architecture: Develop and implement cutting-edge aftertreatment system designs that meet worldwide regulatory vehicle emission standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with program performance objectives, durability requirements, and engineering specifications to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Lead Supplier Meetings: Facilitate supplier meetings to improve manufacturing processes for function, cost, weight, and quality.
  • Audit Manufacturing Facilities: Conduct audits of manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with substrate, washcoat, and canning processes.
  • Support Program Delivery: Collaborate with PMT, Engine Calibration, Exhaust D&R, Finance, Basic Design, and Certification Teams to deliver programs within GPDS timing and cost constraints.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven ability to analyze, plan, and solve complex system problems as they relate to engines and emissions.
  • Organizational Skills: Well-organized and able to maintain multiple programs in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DVP&R and FMEA: Experience with Design Verification and Validation (DVP) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Six Sigma Certification: Six Sigma Green belt or Black belt certification is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical, or Computer Science Engineering.

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid position, and the successful candidate will be required to work from our office.
