Position Summary
We are currently seeking a contract Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) End-of-Line Engineer to support our client's product development and system integration initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and functionality of automotive systems through rigorous testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compensation: $45 - $51 per hour
  • Develop and implement automated testing methods utilizing Hardware-in-the-Loop equipment.
  • Document and review test execution reports, track software updates, and report incidents.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the test organization and engineering teams.
  • Manage testing projects, including defining scope, coverage, timelines, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct trade-off analyses to align test requirements with environmental capabilities.
  • Analyze vehicle components, electrical schematics, and functional specifications.
  • Design and execute test procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Document requirements for test environments and automation solutions.
  • Implement and validate test environment solutions and manage vehicle variant requirements.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and drive incident resolutions.
  • Troubleshoot vehicle systems to minimize false positive reports.
  • Continuously improve test design and execution processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive software development or validation.
  • Proficient in software development life cycles, including CMMI or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
  • Familiarity with dSPACE or NI HiL simulators and associated software.
  • Knowledge of ADAS/DAT feature testing and distributed feature testing.
  • Understanding of ASPICE SW development processes and ISO26262 standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
