Job Title: Data Center NOC Lead

The Data Center NOC Lead will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring of customer and facility-related tickets.

This role requires a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is accustomed to vendor dispatches, customer inquiries, and general operations support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage abnormal conditions with facilities systems: Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Safety, and Building Monitoring and Control
  • Provide support and guidance for daily tasks/operations
  • Cover various shifts and coverage for vacation and sick time
  • Assist Management in daily activities and responsibilities
  • Create and provide documentation as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
  • Utilize systems/tools provided to run reports for KPIs
  • Encourage team to perform to the best of their abilities
  • Back-up for Management when Management is unavailable
  • Ability to Train, Mentor, and Guide New and experienced NOC Technicians
Requirements:
  • High level of knowledge and understanding of critical environments within the Data Center
  • Willingness to communicate and work in a team environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Call center experience
  • Ability to be on-call and travel as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and/or work in elevated locations
  • Ability to learn and research quickly
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Ability to maintain composure and think quickly and clearly in emergencies or pressure-related situations
Education/Experience:
  • 5+ years of overall professional experience with 2+ years of working within a Data Center Operations environment
  • Strong Customer Service experience in a technical profession
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience and training
  • Certifications like a DCCA or CDCP and/or training related to Data Center Operations are highly encouraged
Travel:

Some travel (10%) may be required for training, team meetings, and customer meetings
