Duke Health seeks a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Provider to join our team. This role involves providing direct patient care services for critically ill pediatric patients aged 0-21 with acute, complex, critical, and chronic illness in various care settings.

Key responsibilities include caring for patients in the PICU, PCICU, and PPCU, as well as providing critical care management on the Rapid Response and Code blue teams. As a Pediatric Intensive Care Provider, you will exercise independent decision-making in the assessment, diagnosis, and development of the plan of care for patients on the PCCM service.

Requirements:
  • Nurse Practitioner:
    • Accredited MSN or DNP Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program graduate
    • Current unrestricted RN licensure with authorization to practice as an NP
    • Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (PNP-AC)
  • Physician Assistant:
    • ARC accredited Physician Assistant Program graduate, Master's Degree or DSc preferred
    • Current license issued by the NCMB with authorization to practice as a Physician Assistant
    • PA-C
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pediatric acute care clinical setting experience
  • 2+ years of ICU nursing experience

$120,000 - $150,000 per year
