Duke Health Pediatric Acute Care Clinical Expert

Responsibilities and Expectations: Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care services for critically ill pediatric patients aged 0-21 with acute, complex, critical, and chronic illness.
- Caring for patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care unit (PICU), Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care unit (PCICU), and Pediatric Progressive Care Unit (PPCU).
- Providing critical care management on the Rapid Response and Code blue teams.
- Contributing to excellence in patient care through education, consultation, research, and leadership activities.
Requirements and Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant. Additionally, you should possess strong communication skills, independent decision-making abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with all levels of personnel. Experience in a pediatric acute care clinical setting is strongly preferred, but not required.
Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000 - $190,000 per year. Our comprehensive benefits package includes competitive salary, paid time off, health insurance, retirement savings, and more.
