About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities
  • Arrive at emergency scenes, assess situations, and develop plans of action.
  • Use medical equipment and understand the severity of injuries.
  • Monitor patient conditions, collect data, and communicate findings to primary RNs.
  • Assist with patient mobilization, ambulation, and transport.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
  • One or more of the following:
  • Certified Emergency Medical Tech specializing in Basic obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Certified Paramedic obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
