Job Summary: Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in an Emergency Room setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the Emergency Room, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an Emergency Room setting.
  • Current licensure and certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
