Paramedic Technician

Position Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Paramedic Technician plays a crucial role in delivering emergency medical services. This position is designed for individuals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care in urgent situations.

Department Details

+ Department: Star Plus Occupational Health

+ Schedule: Evening Shift, Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - Midnight

Key Responsibilities

+ Respond to emergency situations, assess the circumstances, and formulate an effective action plan.

+ Utilize medical equipment proficiently while evaluating the severity of injuries.

+ Monitor patient conditions and gather essential data, communicating findings to the primary Registered Nurse (RN).

+ Assist in the mobilization, ambulation, and transportation of patients as necessary.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ Must possess one or more of the following certifications:

- Certified Emergency Medical Technician (Basic) obtained prior to employment.

- Certified Paramedic obtained prior to employment.

Education:

+ High school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years of experience, or an Associate's degree, or a Technical degree is required.
