Job Summary

Waterford Dialysis is seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to provide high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art dialysis unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis machines, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including performing patient treatment from start to finish and handling daily operations between patient and dialysis machine.
  • Conduct basic water room testing and related tasks to ensure the quality of our dialysis water.
  • Open and close the unit and water room, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Respond to machine alarms according to established procedures and provide emergency care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Assist in patient discharge and transfer practices, as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Perform dialysis-related laboratory procedures and quality control measures.
Requirements
  • One year of recent experience as a Certified Hemodialysis Patient Care Technician.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid and current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
