Job Summary:

Columbia Athletic Clubs is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Childcare Attendant to join our team. As a Childcare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to children in our Kids Club program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities and games to promote cognitive, social, and physical development.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, medical information, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with the Kids Club Director to ensure seamless program operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Kids Club program.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • CPR certification and ability to obtain First Aid certification.
  • Ability to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
