Clinical Practice Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Clinical Practice Nurse to join our Neurosurgery team in Everett, Massachusetts.
This is a full-time 40-hour day position, 8am-5pm, in an outpatient setting. The Department of Neurosurgery at Mass General Hospital (MGH) is a nationally acclaimed program with over 27 neurosurgeons, 21 residents, and over 340 department staff and volunteer members.
The right candidate would join a highly functional, fast-paced, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing patient-focused, world-class neurosurgical care. The Clinical Practice Nurse supports and facilitates perioperative care for neurosurgical patients through tasks including:
- Obtaining patient histories and pre-operative clearances
- Coordinating tests and consultations
- Performing patient education
- Communicating with patients and families
The Clinical Practice Nurse will also participate in the orientation of new permanent and temporary staff members, maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills, and contribute to relevant committees and professional meetings.

Requirements for the Clinical Practice Nurse include:
- Minimum of 2-3 years relevant nursing experience
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- BSN degree preferred; New Grads BSN required
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
