We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Position Summary:

In the role of Staff Accountant, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Accounting Manager (CPA) to facilitate seamless financial operations and ensure the precise preparation of financial statements and reports. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a junior accountant to gain comprehensive exposure to diverse accounting processes, tools, and best practices while contributing to the growth of an innovative tech company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all phases of the monthly financial closing process.
  • Assist in the creation of monthly P&L reports, financial statements, and reporting packages for management and stakeholders.
  • Record and review accounting entries to guarantee accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable using QuickBooks and Brex.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements.
  • Help draft operational process documentation.
  • Work in conjunction with the Senior Accounting Manager, VP of Finance, and external advisors to ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm or startup environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with U.S. GAAP.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and self-directed environment.

This position offers a hybrid work model.

Compensation Structure:

Our compensation package comprises three elements: (i) a base salary, (ii) an annual cash bonus, and (iii) substantial equity compensation.

The base salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $105,000, contingent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications. This salary range is specific to candidates located in the relevant area.
