Job Title: Junior Financial Product Manager

MerQube Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Product Manager to join our team. As a Junior Financial Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and launch of new financial products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and launch of new financial products, including market research, user feedback collection, and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to refine product features, target user personas, and value propositions.
  • Support the product development process by writing product requirements documents (PRDs), methodologies, and user stories.
  • Help prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to track progress and address challenges.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or business.
  • 1-5 years of relevant work experience in financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable dealing with large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence others and gain their consensus when needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle steep learning curves, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Programming skills (Python, R, SQL, VBA, others) are desirable.
  • Knowledge of financial packages such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Barra, Axioma, etc. is desirable.
