About the Role

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join a prominent global Architectural firm in Midtown. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial, project, and management reporting data
  • Prepare and review Initial Budget Worksheets and Plans
  • Set up new projects in the ERP system and review contracts and proposals
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of fees and expenses billed to clients
  • Conduct fee forecasting, including budget to actual comparisons
  • Review and approve consultant invoices, including reviews of unbilled expenses
  • Assist in the production of monthly invoices to clients and assist in collections and applying cash
  • Handle quarterly and annual closings as they relate to revenue recognition
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Professional services industry experience, especially in Architecture and Engineering
  • Familiarity with various ERP systems and strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Deltek is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and excellent communication skills
