About the Role

Hitachi Rail is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Rail and Mass Transit sector. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver sales proposals and presentations
  • Manage and negotiate contracts and agreements with customers
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide insights to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the Rail and Mass Transit industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the global rail Turnkey industry
  • Technical knowledge in emerging fields of big data & analytics, cybersecurity, and software development
  • Direct experience with large infrastructure capital projects, public-private partnerships, and progressive design-build
