Civil Construction Supervisor

The Middlesex Corporation is a leading heavy civil construction company seeking a skilled Civil Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and production of roadway-related construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to plan and organize work, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Directly oversee labor and equipment time sheets, as well as daily reports, to monitor productivity and goals.
- Enforce quality control and safety policies, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Develop and implement material handling plans with the Superintendent, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and weekly Toolbox Talks to promote team engagement and safety awareness.
- Provide job hazard analysis prior to new work activities, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a foreman in roadway-related construction.
- Knowledge of calculating and setting grades, as well as familiarity with roadway construction equipment and forming systems.
- Valid driving license and OSHA 10 certification.
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with strong verbal communication skills.
- Dedicated and hardworking individual with strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent attention to detail with an emphasis on quality.
