Job Title: Civil Foreman

The Middlesex Corporation is a leading heavy civil construction company with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

Job Summary:

The Civil Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of roadway construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Supervise and direct construction crews to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
  • Monitor and control costs, materials, and labor to ensure project profitability
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Conduct daily site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards and quality issues
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance crew skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a foreman in roadway construction
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • OSHA 10 certification
